Postpone Dementia, Have More Sex

(re-run)

At breakfast, I was reading my sister’s AARP magazine for April and May, particularly the article called “Your Body at 60” by Sari Harrar. On page 39 she says that “the more sex you have now, the lower your risk for dementia in your later years.”
If that isn’t license to have more time in bed with your fave person, I don’t know what is.
According to the Journals of Gerontology, participants in their study showed that 73 people between the ages of 50 and 83 scored better if they had weekly sexual activity. The — was that “weekly sexual activity was a significant predictor of higher cognitive function.”
What is the word I am looking for? Prognosis? Diagnosis? Result? Determination? Analysis? Outcome?
Why can’t I think of the word? Is it because I am not having sex on a weekly basis? Does this mean I am going to be senile soon? Am I a good candidate for dementia unless I find someone to get between the sheets with me?
Proof? Hypothesis? Prediction? Suggested correlation? Belief? Theory?
Why can’t I think of the right word?
Anecdotal evidence? Unverified conclusion?
Conclusion? Is that what I meant? I can’t believe I had to write 200 words before I came up with the word conclusion.
In conclusion, I have to say that I’d better get on a dating site sooner rather than later so that I can find a romantic partner, get busy, and remember who I am.
If AARP says it is so, then it must be so. After all, who knows better about seniors than they do?
